2023 QS World top 500 Universities have been released!

The 2023 QS World top 500 Universities were released some time ago, and 7 Finnish Universities have placed in the top 500! This is a very impressive amount of Universities, and one of the highest percentage of universities ranked in the top 500. Here are the following placements:

1. University of Helsinki - #106
2. Aalto University - #116
3. University of Turku - #291
4. University of Jyväskylä - #347
5. Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology - #388
6. University of Oulu - #391
7. Tampere University - #415

There were also two other Finnish Universities that were features in the listing beyond the top 500 ranking:

• University of Eastern Finland - #551-650
• Åbo Akademi University - #601-650

This is once again a testament to how great Finnish Universities are in the world rankings, and the value they provide. The hope is that these rankings only go up from here, and hopefully the rest of Finnish Universities like the University Lapland will also gain a ranking spot soon!
