Finnish English Bachelor's program generall application period has ended! See 2023 statistics!

The application process for people seeking an English Bachelor's program in Finnish universities is now over! There are still some schools who offer rolling admissions options, but here is what we know about the general admission for these universities so far:

• Univeristy of Oulu received an almost 100% increase in their applicants this year for English Bachelor's. This is an absolutely insane increase!
• LUT University received a staggering 28% increase in their applicants for English Bachelor's with most applying to the dual degree Computer Science program
• Aalto University received a 20% increase in their applicants for English Bachelor's
• Tampere University had a 43% increase in applicants to their English Bachelor's
• University of Eastern Finland had an almost 200% increase in applicants for English Bachelor's and Master's programs. This is an incomprehensible increase!

These were the general unis for English Bachelor's this year, although there are other options are well in the form of Applied Sciences for example.

A large percentage of the applicants are reported to be from Nigeria, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. Universities also reported an increased interest from students in other countries like the United States, various EU/EEA countries, and countries in Asia and South America.
